I'd like to buy a Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Monitor card to use it as a dedicated output for program output of OBS. Can somebody tell if this works?
I saw some quite old posts here in the forum which stated that work is in progress, but I couldn't find a final statement whether it finally can be used or not. Blackmagic support couldn't tell either and redirected me to the OBS Support/Forum. I also know that a "projector" in OBS could be used instead, but as that would then be a secondary display, which is recognized by Windows of course, there is always a risk that some Windows popups or any other stuff which can't switch off permanently, may appear within a live stream. Moreover I'm not 100% sure whether the performance at 30 or more fps is good. For some technical reasons I need to capture that HDMI signal and convert it to a USB webcam and thus I would need a perfect signal in order not to introduce any potential issues caused by a projector.
