Question / Help "Deactivate When Not Showing" Option?

With the laptop I use I have two Logitech C930e webcams connected. They will not work at the same time, but with the Windows version of OBS Studio I am able to enable the "Deactivate When Not Showing" option and click on one camera at a time. I see no such option with the Linux version. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance.

This option doesn't work for me - at least now in the way I want. In one of my setups i share a couple of cam's that's shared to a capture card over a hdmi switch. Thus turning off one source in obs, physically switching source, doesn't work. It doesn't work because the source in obs remains active.

It does however work if i go into the source in OBS and deactivate it manually. And then also manually de/re-activate the source i now want enabled.
