Question / Help dB slider in audio mixer for desktop audio not effecting what i hear.

as the title states, i am interested in the dB slider to effect the total sum of desktop audio output in real time both on stream and in my headphones. Is there any way to get what I do to the volume slider for Desktop audio to be accurately reflected in my headphones in real time?

In order to hear your stream you need to output your audio to another device. Then listen to the upstream without hearing the computer playing those sounds. See attachments
