As a fairly new user of OBS, I’m surprised I have not yet been able to find anything comparable to the data merging function that exists with NewTek’s Tricaster, wherein you can merge data directly from a google sheets cell right into, for example, a Tricaster lower third simply by highlighting it, right-clicking and then selecting “Send to Tricaster” via a Chrome add-on. Especially since a technology like NDI is addressed in OBS.
Anyone know of anything similar to this for OBS? All I’ve seen is examples of Excel and Google Sheets being incorporated as Window Sources. Far less elegant than a data merge.
