Question / Help Dark Grey/Black Screen in OBS Sources

I used to use OBS before on another computer and have never encountered this problem. My problem is is that whenever I go into sources and click on window capture or game capture, I just get a black screen if I choose something that is not OBS or my computer. For example, I will go into window capture and click on google chrome to display it. It just shows my cursor and a black screen. The only things that have worked are the display capture and window capture but for only my file explorer and OBS itself for some reason. I have attached my logs to the thread as well. If you need any information, I am happy to give it to you.

Chrome requires disabling its hardware acceleration option to be used with window capture. Read http://ccm.net/faq/35743-google-chrome-how-to-disable-hardware-acceleration
That did help and now my google chrome works but sadly other things like XBOX app or applications for windows 10 seem to not work. Whenever I try and display the Xbox app on window capture, I get the same black screen but the mouse cursor glitches and stays until I have a "path" of mouse cursors. I do not know how to explain it but I can send you a picture of it down below.

You're just getting really unlucky and picking the tiny amount of applications that have issues with window capture...

Any windows 10 store apps (UWP) can't be captured by window capture. This includes the xbox app and other windows store applications. You'll have to use display capture for those.
