Hi,

Hello, I am currently looking for a capture device for macOS that works with OBS.
Does anyone know if Elgato Video Capture works with OBS Studio?

That's a question for Elgato.

At least one Elgato product was promoted for a long time as "compatible with MacOS" and "compatible with OBS" but did NOT work with OBS on MacOS because Elgato never provided drivers.

If Elgato can't answer definitively whether this device is supported for use with OBS on MacOS, the only way to find out is to find someone who has one, or buy it, try it and return it if it doesn't work.

Products from BlackMagic, Magewell and AJA generally have full MacOS support.
