Apologies if this already exists in some form or another. I wasn't able to find it.
I have a use-case where I'm streaming content from a game, Final Fantasy XIV, and I want to make it very obvious to viewers where my mouse cursor is. There is some mouseover action going on that I would like to highlight. I can't change the cursor itself; it is a hardware cursor of whatever the game feels it should be. But having an option of adding a circle of a semi-translucent colour to surround the cursor would solve it, I think.
Would it be very difficult to write a plugin that adds this? Would it work in games as well, or are hardware cursors simply not possible to attach things to?
