Question / Help Cursor Functionality

Is there anyway to get the cursor functioning similarly to how it did in OBS Classic? Say, for example, someone is using the League of Legends client. If I were to be capturing that client for a stream or recording and alt-tabbed to my browser, my cursor would still be showing even though the client window is inactive. In the original application, the cursor would not be captured for background windows but this does not work the same in Studio. Is it intended for windows that aren't active to have their cursor activity captured?

Each source that can capture a cursor has a checkbox in the properties to show if you want to capture the cursor or not. I do not believe this will impact the in-game rendered cursor.

That isn't the issue I'm presenting. I know how to hide the cursor entirely within a source. My question is merely regarding cosmetic appearance. I didn't know if out-of-focus windows still showing the cursor was something intended or if it got lost in the transition to MP/Studio.

Here are two examples I just recorded using each respective program (mind the choppiness of the second one, I forgot to change my graphics card for display capture): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNijlB-QwxM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2ty8I3_9Pk

Brought this up for discussion with the rest of the OBS developer community. It's acknowledge, no planned response right now.
