Hi!
I have been streaming CS:GO for some time. But i have stumbled upon an issue as a viewer mentioned it today.
CS:GO runs fine at 280-300fps. I stream at 720p@60FPS at very fast encoder. But the stream is not as smooth as other CS:GO streams i have seen. It feels like it looks like 40fps even though my logs says 60fps.
You can see my log file here:

You can see an example of my stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/251543371
While it might be "smooth" it's just not as smooth as other CS:GO streamers streaming at 720p@60fps. Even my preview seems rather choppy thinking about it.
Would a faster/slower encoder make the gameplay more smooth? It was my understanding that it only helped your quality.
I used to stream at 6000kbit, but tested today at 4000kbit.
I play on a 2560x1440p 144hz monitor and then i have 2 1080p 60fps monitors on each side.
PC:
GPU: 980TI EVGA Hybrid, overclocked with custom bios to 1479mhz
CPU: 4790k running at 4.8ghz
Memory: 32GB 2400mhz Corsair Vengence
Storage: 500gb SSD & 3tb HDD. CSGO and OBS run off the SSD.
For my MIC i use a T.Bone S440 and run it through reaper where i add a noisegate, comp, limiter, EQ.
After that it goes through Voicemeter banan which i use to split audio.
My nvidia settings are optimized for CS:GO. The launch options are :
-nod3d9ex -high -threads 4 -tickrate 128 -novid -language bananagaming +cl_forcepreload 1 +exec autoexec.cfg
I play at 1024x960 4:3 stretch with everything on low. multicore enabled, bilinear filter, and 2x MSAA. FXAA enabled.
I also run a program called Actual Multiple Monitors so i can ignore deactivation in csgo.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause my stream to be less smooth than other stream i watch?
