Question / Help Cropping a single source multiple times

Hello I need some assistance-

I'm trying to crop selections of the input coming into my internal Elgato. This was easy to do in old OBS but I can;t get it to work in OBS Studio. I have a screen that's split into 4 sections. Think Halo 4 player multiplayer. I want to be able to frame each one of those players separately to make a cooler overlay and also provide individual full screen shots of each of the split screen players. In old OBS I could add multiple iterations of the same video source and then crop different sections of the screen. But with OBS Studio I can't seem to add my Elgato capture device more than once. I tried doing multiple crop effects on the input source but the cropping doesn't reset. Any ideas here?

Thanks!

Is there any time frame on when this might happen? I've tried other software but OBS studio is definitely my favourite to use. Been waiting for this feature to be added since the switch to OBS studio, easily my most anticipated feature.

Hi. I'd like to reinforce Nate Bender's request. It would be *really* nice to be able to apply cropping (or all filters, for that matter) to a video source per scene (instead of a single setup to all scenes). Right now this is the only thing preventing me from adopting OBS Studio and my official software for capture. Right now we use a pricey, slow and cumbersome solution, which I'd love to replace with OBS asap...

Please put this as a priority as fast as possible! It will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

This feature is ready (for cropping only) and will be released with 0.14.0 in companion with Alt Key cropping like in OBS1.
