Streaming Dark Messiah on Windows 10.

Without the Creative Alchemy files there is sound in stream, with them there isn't.
I removed the dsound.dll and dsound.ini which Alchemy created from the game folder and it worked again. Put them back in and the sound was gone.

Anyway, help would be appreciated.

Don't really have a solution, just a work around.

Disabled the "mute speakers if headphones are connected" option, and I think you then already know what I did. I routed the headphone signal into my mic2 input (mic1 should work also just fine) and told OBS to stream whatever comes in through there. Worked like a charm. Most people who stream use audio interfaces anyway so doing this and talking on stream shouldn't be a problem if you don't have a mic2 input.

Sorry I don't have a real fix for the problem.

Oh, and in case you are wondering how I can use a mic at the same time as my speakers: Push to talk. Also saves me from having embarrassing moments on stream where I get up and beat my wife and children in the background. Just kidding, I don't have a wife or children. Killed them off stream years ago.
