Question / Help Creating Transparent Youtube Chat Overlay in OBS Studio: Methods / Options?

So I found this tutorial on how to create a Browser Capture in OBS Studio for Youtube Chat.

https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/twitch-like-youtube-chat-room-captures.250/

It works great honestly, looks good and everything, but I have one issue: There is a good 5-6 second delay from when someone types in chat and when it appears in the OBS Window.

Is there another method for doing this? Or can I somehow remove the delay so that the window updates faster?

I just want to make sure that the chat shows up fast enough so people watching later can tell what I am referring to when I respond to people.

I meant there is a delay when I type in chat, and then in the stream preview in OBS (not the actual stream) it takes several seconds for the chat window to update. I am specifically speaking about OBS Preview not the actual stream.

I am aware there is a stream delay.

Let me explain better

I am looking at the OBS Scene. I can see my Webcam and its moving in real time matching me. I can see the chat overlay (from the above tutorial)

I open the chat and type "Test" and the actual chat window updates. However, there is a delay for the window in the OBS Scene to update of about 5-6 seconds. Nothing else has that delay. The game moves in OBS in real time, and my webcam does as well.

That's not really a problem in OBS, the browser source displays anything it receives in realtime.

Interesting. So even though I am seeing the chat text instantly on my end, OBS is not getting it updated instantly...what could be causing that do you think? Chrome? I am using Chrome as the browser for this.

Ah so Youtube has a built in delay to its chat? Will I be seeing that you think when I am live and other people are talking?

I know Twitch doesnt seem to have this issue, but I didnt try Browser Capture with Twitch before. I tried Window Capture (Which made doing the transparency thing hard lol)

I tried using Restream's Chat program for this, but it seems like YouTube's chat just has some delay, sadly. I can't find a way to make it lower.

Also, maybe check out Restream's Chat program as well. It features a way of integrating the chat into your stream as well and it's very clean looking. It's easier to customize the CSS of than the built-in YouTube Chat (although you still have to do it manually).
