I don't think you have the same issue. @Densaw only got one recording, and then reported that adding a new scene didn't work. You had multiple successful recordings, and no mention of a new scene. Details matter...a LOT!I have the same issue. Several clips were successfully transferred then the video stopped working. Audio still records. No changes to settings. Any ideas anyone?
Yes, I am on Windows 10. I have eliminated all but one scene which uses GV-USB2 as its source. I have restarted OBS and turned the camcorder off and back on. Still can't view video from the camcorder in OBS. The window was blue when it was working. Now it is black.Are you on Windows? It's still in the 90's or early 2000's in terms of exclusivity for video sources. Originally for performance reasons, only one thing is allowed to use a video source at a time. Two scenes in OBS that both ask for it independently, count as two things asking for it. You can't do that on Windoze, but you can on Linux.
That said, the "proper" way to do that is to reference the same source multiple times *inside* of OBS. That way, Windows only sees one thing using it, and OBS itself copies it internally.
Either Copy and Paste (Reference), or when you create a new source, pick one that already exists instead of creating new with a different name.
