'Create/Select Source' how to delete specific sources

Thanks, of course. If I delete the source from all source windows, then it doesn't show up in the 'Add Existing' window.
Just wondering if there was a way to keep a source but delete it from the seeing it in the 'Add Existing' window.
Guess not.

Instead of deleting it then just turn it off and it won't be seen except in your source list. As far as removing it from the 'add existing,,as far as I know it will be in the add existing window as long as the source is still in OBS list of sources .

When the last copy of a source is removed from a scene, the source will be removed from OBS Studio and thus disappear from the Add Existing list. Why would you store unused sources? As mentioned above: the visibility can be toggled off by using the eye icon.

If you really want to store unused sources, maybe it is a workaround to create a scene and call it i.e. Storage. Add your scenes there before removing the last one from your normal scenes.

If the source is still in the "Add Existing" option, it's still in at least one scene.
You can't keep it in the "Add existing" screen if it's not in at least one scene in the collection
