update, after messing around with my gpu's iv got the flickering to stop. but when i try record a game, the fps drops like crazy, game capture and window capture are fine.
Back when I was using just normal obs I use to use monitor capture, it was handy so I didn't have to add the game any time I switched to a different game.
any ideas how I can use monitor capture as my main source of recording.

buffer size should be = bitrate

im usg a 10 core cpu overclocked to 4.1ghz, i can encode in the slowest preset without issues.
and for the buffer size, its like that because i stream a lot of fast moving games, so the buffer size give extra bit rate during them times
