Question / Help Crashing when I "Start Streaming"

My OBS works fine while working through settings and creating scenes etc, but as soon as i press "start streaming" it thinks for a moment like everythings fine, then OBS closes, then when i choose to "reopen" from the mac prompt that comes up, I get this message "Failed to find locale/en-US.ini"

I have read through the forums and have not been able to make any of the fixes here work for me.

In Help > Cash Reports: both 'Show Crash Reports', and 'Upload last crash report', do nothing when i click them, so i'm not sure how to show my crash logs.

I'm on a 15inch late 2016 macbook pro:
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Radeon Pro 450 2048 MB
Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB

Crashing when streaming to Mixer with FTL on macOS is a known crash. At the time, the only workaround was to use RTMP. It was fixed for OBS Studio 22.0.0, which has been released. Please update to the newest version.
