Question / Help Crashing problems?

Haven't ever had this problem before today, but when I started up OBS to try and stream I found that I was getting a crash error... Trying to open up OBS again says an instance is already running.

Not sure if this is what cause(s/d) it, but the Elgato Capture Card gets real finicky sometimes, so I have to unplug / plug back in, then de-activate / reactivate in OBS to get it to work with PS3... Had 3 crashes, noticed on the last one that the situation just explained is when I got the crash.

I have the same issue, I have an ElgatoHD60 pro, I was getting the vcruntime140.dll error, but after installing vc_redistx64 and x86 I now get it at Libx264-148.dll. Looking that up leads to people talking about unstable OC's and faulty RAM but after running LinX for an hour it finds no errors at all and I've never experienced any issues with my PC, even now its just OBS and Streamlabs OBS having errors.

The crashes only started happening recently, its usually after 30mins to an hour of recording, it doesn't crash if OBS is just idle. Everything is up to date.

Been seeing other topics but no answers... Bumping mine up since it has a crash log (some of them didn't)

Crash logs are separate from session logs.

The crashlog you managed to get says your crash is in the elgato software.

The link you gave originally didn't have the crash log in it at all.

You need to update to 22.0.2 (you're on a version with a broken "Check for updates") and you also need to address the issues with your elgato software.
