Question / Help Crashing immediately on Start Recording

Hi there,

OBS 19.0.3 (32 and 64) is crashing immediately upon hitting Start Recording.

Machine:
- Windows 10 (Creator's Update)
- Display is 1440p, 144hz, GSYNC Enabled.
- Video Card: 1080 Ti FE (Driver version: 384.76)
- CPU: 4770k @ 4.2Ghz

Setup info:
- Fresh install of OBS, followed the setup prompts.
- Source is Display Capture, Display is 1440p 144hz.
- Base Canvas Res: 2560x1440
- Output Scaled Res: 1920x1080
- Common FPS: 60
- Recording Quality: High Quality, Medium File Size
- Recording Format: flv
- Encoder: Hardware (NVENC)

What am I recording:
- I tried an Unreal game (Gigantic); crashed.
- Also tried just recording the desktop; same result.

I suppose it's worth asking if all this trouble is worth it to use NVENC? I was able to get recording to work with Software x264; but my goal is Local Recording only so I thought I'd spare my CPU some cycles and use NVENC.
