Question / Help Crashes when choose H264 AMD AMF

OBS 17.0.2. crashes when I choose H264 AMD Advanded Media Framework
Previously on this machine with Windows 10 everything was OK. Now 8.1 and I've tried many AMD driver versions (and OBS too) and can't get any positive result.

Why did you downgrade back to 8.1? 10 is not only better in performance, it is also better for programmers and device support.

Anyway, the issue is that DirectX 11 crashes. You need to install all updates, then you might get lucky that it works.

If you get strange behaviour with switchable graphics on Win 10, make sure to only install the AMD drivers and leave the Intel drivers away. Intel on Win 10 with AMD is a dangerously broken combination (Intel replaces AMD libraries, causing issues and crashes).
