Hi!
Just bought a "newish" computer but cant make OBS work. Took all the "settings" from my old folder to not have to make all the things all over again. The problem is that it seems like it crashes every now and then and i also most of the time get "black screen" when i try to record a game.

Checking in the taskmanager i use about 15% of my GPU/CPU and only the OBS frezzes, no problem with the game or any other stuff. Also trying to "relaunch it" its stuck in taskmanager and i can "end activity" anyone got any suggestions? Im streaming an old game (heroes of newerth and AOE2) so dont feel like it should be overloading the system (worked gr8 with my old geforce 970.)

System I5 13700F
AMD 6750XT
32 GB ram

Did everything you mention and still work.

I tried deactivate the "integrated" graphic card and then it dosent crash and "works" but the games are stuttering like crazy (even when i dont have OBS running). V-sync went from 60--> 30 and overall FPS 260--> 130 with the integrated card turned off. If i turn it on OBS "frezzes" in like 1-2 minutes.

Have been going in to setting and take "run on AMD 6750XT" But still dont work. (see screenshot)

Is there some way of "locking" so OBS cant use the Intel UHD 770 since that seems to be causing the problem?

I can see that you also got the "intel uhd 770" graphic card and that is the i turned off to make it work but then sadly gaming is impossible. Maybe that is the common fail for us ?

So this is what i found out

Intel UHD 770 disabled = Unplayable stutter and low fps (100) with V-sync only around 30 FPS . OBS studio DONT CRASH?!

Intel UHD 770 enabled = No stutter and high FPS 250+ (with V-sync on 60 FPS as it should be). OBS studio work for like 1-2 min before it frezzes first the studio and then the entire computer.

Anyone experienced something simulair? Seems to be something with the integrated card but cant turn it off since it ruins my gaming experience somehow (even tho the game should be going on the dedicated 6750 XT)

Found the problem.

I ran DDU and that unistall all Nvidia and did same for the Intel.
Then i checked my screen that was using 770 UHD before now used some "micosoft bla bla card" instead of my regulair 6750XT.

I tried to figure out why and the reason was a simply as it could be. I had my screen in the PROCESSOR port (hdmi) Instead of the graphic cards port on the back up my computer. Took it out and set in the graphic card and display showed 6750XT and now everything works perfectly. Suchs a simple fix and still there is NOTHING to read about it!

For some reason my OBS couldnt handle me playing on the 6750 XT while the monitor was on the Intel UHD770 for some reason but now since my screen is on 6750 and my game on 6750 everything works LIKE A CHARM!

Hope it helps anyone! :)
