Bug Report Crash when attempting to browse local files

Getting consistent crashes when attempting to add an image source.
Steps to reproduce:

1. Add source: Image
2. Create new (name it, then confirm with OK button)
3. Click 'Browse' button
4. Crash

Browsing for (image) files for a slideshow gives the same problem.

Same problem. This is a fedora #fc31 system. I compiled from source.

Most suspicious log msg:
