Hello! I have been trying to figure out this problem for a LONG time, but I haven't come up with any answers and it is super frustrating! Whenever I record audio it sounds great on my computer, even if I upload it to another platform (like Youtube or Tiktok), but when I listen to the audio on any other device (multiple smart phones, different computers, etc.) the audio is scratchy and garbled. None of my speaking audio comes through properly at all.
Here is a link of the sound example: https://youtu.be/saN1J7Knamg
*Process of elimination testing (extra info): It seems like this is either a problem with my microphone (Blue Yeti) (which has worked well before) or OBS. I have deleted and redownloaded OBS many times (even deleting my personal settings) to see if that is the issue, but I can't figure it out!
(I don't know if it is relevant to the above problem, but this is another issue I am facing:)
In the freshly downloaded version of OBS (no settings changed) everything seems to work normally (besides the sound issue), but as soon as I try to run the auto-configuration wizard for any setting, then click "start recording" I get this message after it is complete:
"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.
Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your drivers are up to date."
(The log text file attached is after running the auto-configuration wizard btw.)
I have tried so many things that at this point I am just at a loss. I have even talked with the tech support for my mic company and they said it isn't a problem on their end- it is the recording program I am using. Any help would be appreciated!
