I've been experiencing crackling in my audio while recording a game using Loopback and OBS, which is ruining my narration. I've swapped mics out and I'm still experienced the crackling. Not sure if this is electromagnetic interference but I sort of doubt it, I suspect it may have something to do with OBS. Computer is a new Mac M4 desktop. Audio is not clipping anywhere. I've swapped settings around in OBS trying to resolve this but have had no success, currently they are:

STREAMING
Video Bitrate 6000 Kbps
Audio Bitrate 160
Video Encoder Software (x264)
Encoder Preset veryfast (default) (medium CPU usage, standard quality)
Audio Encoder AAC (Default)

RECORDING
Recording Quality High Quality, Medium File Size
Recording Format Fragmented MOV (.mov)
Video Encoder Hardware (Apple, H264.)
Audio Encoder AAC (Default)

AUDIO

Channels Stereo

Desktop Audios all Disabled
Mic/Auxiliary Audios all Disabled

Decay Rate Fast
Peak Meter Type Sample Peak

VIDEO
Base (Canvas) Resolution 1920x1080

Hmm. Just replaced some cables and recorded again with Audacity as a backup, and the crackling has persisted, even in the backup audio. Maybe I need to update my drivers. Anyway, thanks for the help!
