Question / Help CPU usage preset change while recording?

Can I change it while recording? I just wonder if it makes my computer slow after or while recording?
Can I change it while the encoding process is going on?

I have it to ultrafast but is just too bad, but my computer is also crap so I don't know, I want to try very fast but I want to test and change it to medium and those things
I have no problem if the computer gets slow after recording, I just want a proper quality, an acceptable one with 0 pixelation, but I don't want it to be HD 4k best encoding, I still wish I could make it that but my computer is not good enough I can only record to 480p, so well if I can change the encoding settings while is encoding it could be great for testing, giving the best quality I can, I don't care if it takes too long if it's doing it's work them is fine with me (just better not take days, 1 day enough but two meh)

Use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output when in Simple output mode. In the recording section, change the Recording Quality to Indistinguishable Quality, and then select your encoder (pick something Hardware if it's available, such as QSV or NVENC).

That does not answer my question, I just want to test the encoding rate factors, but meh I'll have to leave it at Ultra Fast because if I tried something lower than that my games could go slow

Without an actual log to see what you're trying to do and where the issues are, our recommendation is going to be to use the presets. I don't mean to come off as rude, but if you're in advanced output mode, there's an expectation you understand what those settings are.

Sorry forgot about the log, I will try to remember to send it later
I know what each setting is I just need to test my computer performance with those encoding presets, it would be easier to choose the lowest encoding that at the same time doesn't take much of my CPU if I could change it while encoding

I think that's not possible but I may be wrong, I just know that I can change the settings while the video is stopping
