Question / Help CPU usage 80-90% while idling

So last night I went to stream and before even starting the stream I noticed my game capture was running really slow. I looked down and my cpu usage was at 85%. I have been streaming for a couple of month with the same settings with no problems. Not sure what is going on. I have tried lowering my setting to see if it helps any and it does not. I know theres a lot of talk about issues since windows update. I am not sure what to do to fix the issue at this point. Ive tried changing settings, uninstalling obs and reinstalling it, i changed my antivirus program because some one told me the one i had maybe causing the issue.

And what antivirus did you change from and to?

I was using Avast now im just using windows defender. No sure how to post the obs log

Switch your renderer back to direct3d in obs' advanced settings.

Being on a celeron isn't helping matters in the slightest, but you may need to deal with the creator's update psa

Its all I have to work with at the moment until I can get a better computer. It's just weird that I've been streaming for months with no issue then suddenly this.
