Question / Help CPU or GPU?

I have a i7-8700k & EVGA GTX 1080
16 gigs of ram

Single PC streaming, unfortunately having issues streaming some games like pubg, apex for instance. I use my GPU on streamlab obs, would it be better to use my CPU or GPU?

I started with 1080p60fps but now at 720p60fps and seems the same with FPS issue, not in game but on my streamlab obs for my viewers

I am interested in this as well. I have a slightly lesser rig then you i7700k and a msi gtx 1070. I use my cpu and had no issues for a long while but recently things have changed. thinking it may be becuse of update. id add your log just in case and maybe somebody better suited on here can help. I know that's no help just solidarity I guess and maybe my comment will keep the post in rotation lol
