Hello, I have downloaded the OBS 64 bit (which is my computers preferred) and each time I open it it reads the message: "Could not find any D3DCompiler Libraries". I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times and have tried the 32 bit as well. Would love some help on this if there is any :) thanks!

I have exactly the same. I downloaded the zip file as I need OBS on a
stand-alone production machine which is not connected to the Internet.

I am not charmed of / it is impossible for me to have to download a web
installer from a Microsoft website...

What options are there? E.g. should I install the Direct X SDK environment?

95.6 MB of additional content is not needed when most people already have installed DirectX at some point.

Fair point.

However, if you want to be all inclusive / prepare the use case of offline installations
perhaps it would be good to put this additional information on the landing page that
is referred to in the error message OBS throws e.g. http://obsproject.com/go/dxwebsetup

In any case it would be good to have some OBS written explanation about the error
and what is needed to solve it, before the above link redirects to the Microsoft page.
