Bug Report Corrupted VODS ONLY during local recordings.

Hey there,
This is an issue I keep having where OBS MP will output an mp4 file (when I do a LOCAL recording ONLY) that is corrupted for all editing programs, but that will read fine for VLC and other media players.

With the EXACT same output settings for the local files (https://obsproject.com/forum/posts/191210/) if I stream AND record the VOD at the same time, this issue never happens.

As you can see (and I've tried w/ AVID media composer aswell), editing software think the video is 16x160 pixels : http://i.imgur.com/g4nk5nn.png

This is extremely bothering and I'm sure it can be fixed.
Any advice or help is very welcome.

Cheers

Hi,
I tried recording to FLV w/ a test file, and using the OBS MP "Remux" setting to put it into mp4 format as Adobe premiere doesn't accept FLV, and the exact same issue happens. :-(

The files aren't corrupted, it's usually an issue with premiere or the version of premiere being used. I'm pretty sure the latest versions shouldn't have this issue but I haven't checked in a while. What encoder are you using by the way? You might get some issues if you're using the media foundation encoders -- they really need to be removed/replaced because they have encoding issues.

It's true I'm using adobe premier CC, which isn't the latest version. The thing is that on OBS (original) the issue doesn't occur, I like using CC because they didn't change so many things on the layout like they did in the CC2014+versions.

But about the media foundation encoders, is there any documentation on how I can change those ? I don't really understand ^^'
