Dxtory, PlayClaw, Action!, Bandicam. They all have an ingame overlay with FPS counter and recording status.
I think this is crucial for people that play fullscreen games with a single monitor. My gaming rig is now a single widescreen monitor and I see many people using the same thing. Even if you have multiple monitors you might not want to look away to constantly check your fps and if you're actually recording.
Is this being worked on, or there's any roadmap? I would even pay for good a plugin that offered these two functions for most games (DX 10/11/12 and Vulkan if possible).
