Hello community,
I had the most unpleasant experience during my last live streaming (link here, if not allowed I will remove it) and since I've added a new device (swapped the laptop used) in my streaming equation, I want to fully understand what happened and how I can avoid.
The main issues were that the streaming had tons of audio drops and video freezes, basically it's more unusable than usable :) The issue happened with both live stream and the recording so I tend to believe that the issue was the computer that I've used this time.
Taking a look on the logs, I'm seeing a lot of coreaudio: device 'USB Audio CODEC ' disconnected or changed. attempting to reconnect entries, assuming that the audio mixer that I was using had disconnect a lot of times (I'm not getting the reason why it was doing that) and also when I've stopped the stream, I'm seeing in logs 23:38:15.928: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 122716/181019 (67.8%) percent that looks really bad.
Honestly, I don't fully understand the logs and maybe I'm reading the information incorrectly, but any help to figure out what happened and how to avoid this, is more than welcome.
Thank you in advance guys, take care!
