copy/paste doesn't work as expected

Hi guys, so I have an issue with the copy/ paste command in OBS.

I've been trying for a long time now because at first I thought it was just me doing things wrong.

Basically, I'm trying to copy/paste a group of elements in one of my layouts and change the content of some of the individual elements within that group. So I go to the sources dock, right-click on the group, select copy and then I right-click below and select paste (duplicate). So far so good, however, when I proceed to change the picture or text in the elements in the newly pasted-in group, the elements change in the original group as well.

That's the behaviour I would expect from the paste (reference) option but that's just not what I want.

For now I suppose I'll just have to manually create and position each individual element. but I thought I'd bring it up anyway as it's a pretty handy function to have and if it's not functioning correctly it should be removed (or preferably fixed).

I'm on 26.1.1..

I get that it's all work in progress, but I just thought I'd bring it up here first to see if someone else was experiencing the same issue. I've searched the forum and haven't found any posts about this specific issue, thus this post here.

Edit: I have the same issue whether it's a group I'm duplicating or an entire scene so basically, whatever is in the original group/scene/source updates in all instances so the "duplicate" option of pasting isn't working as intended.

It also seems like the copy-transform context menu isn't working properly withing grouped elements either.

For some reason, when I copy-transform an element that is within a group, the paste-transform command has another set of transformation data saved and uses that instead.

This is how I have my sources set up in the scene I'm currently working on. If I copy-transform any of the assets that are grouped together, the position of any source I paste the transformation data on is wrong. Whereas if I copy the data from any of the assets at the bottom (the reference-ones) it pastes correctly.

Bump... This is occurring for me. Copy pasting as a duplicate, the sources are sharing everything.

Bump. This is still a thing. No point in having two different pastes if both will mess with the thing you copied from an entirely different scene.
