Control obs scenes with alerts

I stream on fb gaming and am currently looking to see if it is possible to have an alert trigger a source changes in obs? I'm hoping i can do this with some sort of websocket .embedded inside the alert custom code or something along these lines?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Ahh,

I hoped i would be able to send a trigger from a custom alert in Stream elements which would then trigger the websocket plugin. I havent looked into this enough to even really know what im talking about but hoped this was possible.
