Hey y'all,
First poster here, as well as a Mac user stumbling around with a Windows setup...so bear with me please!
I'm setting up a simple livestream setup for a church. One camera (Lumix G7), capture card (Magewell HDMI-USB), on a Acer Nitro 5 laptop. I am getting constant low framerate with the capture card input in OBS. Whether or not I am streaming or recording, regardless of the framerate settings in the camera or in OBS (tried both 30 and 60), the preview always displays somewhere around 10-15 fps (eyeballing it). OBS says it is pegged at whatever the framerate is set to, but it's clearly not. CPU load is low, so it doesn't seem like a hardware capability issue...
If I switch to the webcam, there are zero issues. Perfectly smooth, displays 30 fps.
Any ideas? Thanks!
