For a few weeks now I have been facing this problem. Not even an engineer was able to find an explanation other than the possibility that it could be the sound card (behringer um2) of my xlr microphone (rode ntg2), but this hypothesis has been discarded now that the problem also occurs with my blue yeti usb.
It does not take off even by disabling the filters, and the problem seems to come mostly from the USB ports. The problem may temporarily disappear when I change the usb port to the microphone, but after a while it recurs.
The really strange thing is that it seems as if this problem is metaphorically a virus attacking the usb ports the moment they are used for the microphone. I'll explain:
If the problem has already occurred in a USB port, it will continue to occur without exception, unlike the USB ports that I have not yet tried, but these too will suffer the same fate.
I really can't figure out what the problem could be, as usb ports work perfectly for any other hardware device.
Could it be the latest update of windows 10? I can not think of anything else.
