My PC specs: Intel i7-9700k 3.6GHz, 32G Ram, GTX 1070ti
So basically I only want to record. When recording, the scene and settings look perfect - there's no lag or any issues at all. But once the clip is saved (.mkv file) on playback with the windows player it looks like absolute shit, tons of lag, huge quality drop off... idk how to fix it. Here in this clip you can see it actually looks pretty good! So I am almost wondering if windows player is just god awful somehow. I've tried changing every setting you can think of, including the video file types, bitrate, nvenc, ect... Nothing works. Although it may not even matter if the end result still looks good, it's just annoying to not see the same result on playback from windows.
