Question / Help Constant crashes

Hi,

I keep getting crashes right after I start up OBS Studio. I attached the last 3 logs that were created just now, they're probably identical but just in case. Anyone able to figure out the cause?

Thank you in advance.

DVB-T card installed (philips saa1760 based)?

Nope, just my capture card (Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI) although I've had issues whenever no signal was received through the card (BSODs even), seems to work fine when the connected console is turned on.

Hmm, the crash is always in the same file:
sa7160.c64.ax

That should be a directshow filter to control a video device. Do you have any old drivers installed on your system that could be removed?

You might want to see if you can update your Micomsoft drivers. Also you can try starting OBS with the Capture Card disconnected. Does it start without problems then?
Last but not least you could uninstall OBS, make sure the uninstaller removes all settings (it asks you if it should) and then re-install OBS and start it again. It should not crash with a fresh install.

For some reason I didn't get a notification of your post but I am already running the latest Micomsoft drivers... I noticed that when OBS crashes and shuts down there is still an instance of cef-bootstrap.exe running. When I start OBS again and it crashes again, another instance keeps running. If I close the remaining instances it usually appears to stop the crashes. Reinstalling OBS did not work by the way.
