I play a lot on pvp servers (minecraft)
I tried recording today and from the point at which I hit record my wifi is gone....poof
When I stop recording after like 5 seconds my wifi is back.
I tried doing this back and forth like 7 times and I am 100% sure obs is stopping or blocking my wifi (No I am not streaming I am just recording)

Any help appreciated!!

I recommend learning how to use/view/understand Windows Task Manager (Performance Tab)/Resource Monitor
- Hit Record in OBS and check PC hardware resource utilization in one of those tools. If CPU nearing 100%, that can cause all kinds of instability when trying to d something demanding like video encoding
