Connecting Phone Through IP Address

Is that even still available? The reason I paid for the official software was that it was the easiest way to just plug in the IP and port number and go.

Now it seems like the option doesn't even exist, and it's only been about 2 months since I had to shut down this camera from regular use.

Did they switch the app on the playstore? It doesn't even recognize that there's a camera with an IP address on their app registered to me. So did they switch the formatting? Everything is updated or redownloaded too.

Thank you

Are you asking about StreamLabs OBS? if yes
Streamlabs OBS [SLOBS] is a derivative version of OBS Studio, with the front-end hacksawed off and a webpage slapped over the top by the Streamlabs folks.

You should reach out to Streamlabs <https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us> for support with their forked version.

Or are you asking about an App Store app called OBS (which was NOT created by OBS studio as far as I'm aware of)? Check the download resources at https://obsproject.com/download for official apps. You'll note there are NO mobile app versions present

As for running a 3rd party app on a smartphone and sending a video stream to a computer, and OBS being able to use that... there are numerous options, including NDI (NewTek's) s/w. I'm not aware of DroidCam ever being a native source in OBS Studio. That doesn't mean the authors of DroidCam have written a plug-in for OBS that you would have to get and install.

I downloaded the OBS software they had available in August last year. I've reinstalled this download.

There was an option to add a DroidCam as a source

This video 3:18 he starts doing the exact thing I did

I have something called DroidCam OBS from the Google Playstore that gave me the IP address and port.

What were you using then 2 months ago?

Dev47apps.com/OBS
I didn't realize that when I set this up, I downloaded two things!!!!!

Just so you are aware, there are no official Android apps by the OBS team. The Droidcam plugin is a 3rd party application.
