Question / Help Connecting DSLR to OBS from 50 ft

Hi. I have been using OBS for my church's live feed through facebook. I use my Canon 6D which connects to my laptop with a USB. I also use Camera Live to connect to my DSLR camera to OBS. I usually do the live feeds in front of the church but I want to move to the back of the church. I was wondering if anyone knew a way where I can connect my DSLR from 50ft to my laptop? I've tried to use an HDMI but the DLSLR HDMI option is output and I couldn't figure out how to connect the camera to OBS. Thank you.

You'd need a capture card to connect a camera's HDMI output to a Mac running OBS.

Look at Magewell, AJA, BlackMagic.

Avoid Elgato for compatibility reasons (possible exception is the Cam Link).
