Question / Help Configuring a scene audio source during Remote Desktop session

I have OBS running on a Gigabyte Brix Micro PC dedicated for streaming that does not have a monitor attached to it.

i connect to the PC remotely to start OBS streaming sessions, but have noticed that when i try to add an audio capture device during a remote desktop session it does not list the soundcard, only 'remote audio'.

Is there any way to get OBS to list the soundcard? it is showing correctly in device manager and is picking up sound etc.
