Bug Report Complete OBS CHAOS

Hey!

Something is bugged With my OBS all of a sudden . I have streamed for quite some time with zero issues , crispy quality , no lag , low delay , everything has been sound with audio and NOW all of a sudden , CHAOS . My CPU usage has went through the roof , up to 100 percent at times , even after taking hours to clean out my computer and ensure nothing ever runs or responds in the backround other than what i am doing .. its still extremely high in the 70s at times and more . My audio is complete trash , sounds like i am under water , repeats my voice over and over , have red bar in OBS like its clipping , the desktop audio seems to be affecting the mic ( mic picking it up? ) and my stream has been choppy! everything is all out of wack , i can't / have not been able to stream and every one just leaves my channel ( i do not blame them ) because of this trash quality . I removed ALL my old scenes and browser sources , added new ones with limited browser sources and made sure everything turns off when being displayed .

I NEVER had these issues and now all of a sudden everything is complete junk and i am un able to stream . Can anyone PLEASE help me , please can we use team viewer and go through and work on the quality and fixes , i don't even care if i have to pay you at this point , this needs to be fixed . Thank you so much in advance for your time to read this!

I use an elgato HD60 PRO - my computer runs an i7 6700k or something that i bought 8 months ago and i use a logitech HD 1080p c920 camera with a blu yetti pro mic .

I stream in OBS studio 20.1.1 playing a 30 FPS game "destiny 2" on the PS4 through my PC streaming .

please help if you can

Something changed in your system. I would think that is a Windows update. After the Creators update, my Elgato HD 60 Pro went haywire. Turns out, it was an Elgato Driver issue and they made the change quickly. So I would go update that first and see if it fixes your problems. Also, OBS Studio is on version 20.1.3, update that too.

FWIW, I also have c920/c922's and various Blue mics (USB and analogs) and have experienced no problems.

i will update OBS now as well and see if this makes a difference . Do you know why my blue yetti pro is having issues? i will plug it in and yet nothing happens , picking up no sound and when i click my mic/aux properties it's not in the list . If i search my PC "blu yetti" there is a tab that says blue yetti driver installer or something and if i click this and install the blue yetti again , then it restarts my PC , it then works . This makes no sense to me at all as i never had the issue until the last month or two and this is a "plug and play" mic . My audio is also horrendous , sounds like i am under water and it's repeating my voice for some odd reason ........ seems like it might even have been picking up noise from my speakers PC speakers that is . Maybe this would go away if i could buy a 3.5MM cord that goes from my base station to my Astro A50s? then my mic wouldn't be able to pick up any feedback HOWEVER even with my current setup , my audio used to be good and now randomly its hell .

thanks for your time and help , it means a lot to me as i miss my stream so much and its been ruined for weeks and weeks now .

Aries, this is not a place to discuss general problems you are having. Realize you created a Bug Report associated with a particular titled topic.

Please do not do this. Go open a separate post with a suitable title for each issue you are having. Separate them out so people can address each on a case by case instance particular to the topic at hand.
