Question / Help compatible with sims 3 windows?

I want to create my own YouTube channel. it will be based on me playing the sims 3 (Lets Play). i know that Fraps allows you to record game play but you have to pay for it, however this one you don't have to. i was wondering if this is compatible with the sims 3 and will allow me to create my own live streaming game play which will be roughly 20-30 mins long.
