We plan to purchase a Mac mini for our organization - would OBS software running a 24-hour-a-day, 365-days a year online radio station work well on a Mac mini? Are there any computer spec we should be aware of?

Audio is terrible in OBS. The quality is there - your listeners won't know the difference - but there are workflow and compatibility problems all over it. I often recommend that people do all of their audio work *outside* of OBS, and feed it only the final, finished soundtrack as its only audio source at all, to pass through completely unchanged.

So if all you're doing is audio, see if you can find something only does audio, so it can actually focus on making that good.
