Hello everyone. I'm a fairly new user. Ilve been trying to run a pretty much continuous stream, and am using the following set uo. MOTU Digital Performer is capturing 8 mic sources and mixing them, and applying some final limiting etc before streaming into OBS via Soundflower. OBS is set to accept Soundflower as the audio source, and the audio will stream, with video too, via Youtube. However, I am experiencing issues where my audio begins to develop masses of crackling after an unpredictable period of time. I have upgarded the computer, tried swapping sample rates etc, but I can't get a reliable stream, free of the eventual crackling. I am beginning to wonder if it's a timing/clock issue and I wonder if the routing of DP, which is using my MOTU interface as the master clock, via Soundflower is the problem. I've also tried swapping Blackhole for Soundflower, with no improvement. I'm contemplating setting up with Reaper instead, but cannot get my head round how you set that up to stream. Anyone got any ideas?
