Choppy video RMTP

Hi all - I've been searching and trying to find a solution to my problem. Yes, I'm a noob here - simply an activities director trying to broadcast a VB game over RMTP with OBS and Hudl (camera).

I'm pulling an RMTP from our camera in our gym (connected to the internet) and putting it into OBS to combine audio. For some reason, it is jumpy and jittery. Here is an example:

i am trying to get our Hudl focus camera to work with OBS and bring in audio.

Did either of you get the Hudl Camera to work successfully with OBS?

We attempted to set this up yesterday, but I just get a black screen where I have added the Media Source and followed the instructions from Hudl to pull in the video from the Tactical camera.

I'm using a Mac with the OBS software installed.

Looking at the OBS logs, I get errors stating that
"Unable to find input format for 'rtmp://10.41.XX.XX/live/Tactical:"
"Failed to open media 'rtmp://10.41.XX.XX/live/Tactical:"

All of my configuration looks correct to me.

Any ideas?

Same problem here. I have the feed running, but its jumpy and super choppy. We are trying to add audio to basketball games. May have to opt to use El Gato and buy a camcorder, rather than OBS for this.

I just started getting comfortable with our Hudl feed to OBS. Here are some things I had to troubleshoot and work with my tech department on:
-make sure the connection to your streaming laptop is WIRED
-turn off WiFi completely (disable it in your computer settings)
-and last (and probably the weirdest one) turn off Bluetooth capabilities. And if it starts to get choppy toggle them off/on until it clears up

Hudl will say it's an OBS issue but I'll never buy it. Just too many issues with that RTMP feed going to an external server and back to the camera.
