For some reason OBS recordings end up being laggy for some reason. This is happening on GTA V and Rocket League. I doubt it's the game settings because I run Rocket League at high FPS's and GTA V on decent FPS and locking both FPS's doesn't seem to change anything. I need help with what I'm doing wrong. I used to record 1080p with a high FPS before. I'm mainly concirned about GTA V since that's what I record. GTA V recordings look choppy and not smooth.
I tried updating to latest OBS version as well but that didn't do anything.
GTA V feels smooth since I locked the FPS at 100 so I get a smooth experience. Please help me since I'm struggling with this for a while now.
Edit: I tried changing the Refresh rate in game to something lower, changing monitors refresh rate and locking in game fps and it still lags. I feel like OBS is making it lag. I'm looking for smooth recordings since I know my PC can handle it.
