I'm trying to use OBS to record myself playing guitar. The sources are simply a camera and a USB mixer that has guitar and backing music audio going to the PC.
I've tried many combinations of recording settings, encoders, bitrates, etc -- and my recordings consistently have audio dropouts every few seconds... almost as if it were dropping frames or something. My PC is fast (i9900K, 64GB RAM, SSD), so I don't think that is it. If I record in Camtasia, the recording is fine.
