I could not find the log files that correspond to these 2 videos/recordings. I can attempt to replicate them again to get the log files if its absolutely necessary.
Hey, let me just say I'm a noob at OBS usage and am using a Macbook pro 15 inch mid-2015 model.
So right there are my videos at the timeskip(s) where it does exactly what the title suggests. Its choppy and then kinda smooths/speeds back up to catch up to the smooth gameplay. I apologize for the out of context cringe and my voice commentary.
OBS Settings:
Im using RGB because I found that it has a "brighter"/more accurate video capture as opposed to NV12 which always resulted in a "grayed/grainy" video output. I have unlisted videos displaying the different color formats when I messed around with this.
1. Why does this happen?
2. How can I address this?
3. When in game, the FPS stays at 60fps but feels much smoother like 250-300fps (the normal range when I DO NOT RECORD), why does this happen?
4. When in game, the FPS is above 60fps (90-100fps WHEN I DO RECORD) but it sometimes feels much less, why does this happen?
I have tried playing and recording at 30fps, but found 60fps to be much smoother and would like to accomplish this if possible.
