Hey fellas,
I'm building a second PC that will be dedicated to running OBS. On a technical level, I'm looking to make the best decision on a CPU that will run OBS and run it well without worrying about anything else. I'm targeting being able to stream and record a 1080p60 canvas downscaled to 720p60 for streaming with a slower than average CPU preset.
I guess my main question is whether OBS Studio would perform better with more cores, or fewer faster cores, but I would appreciate other insights as well.
I should also mention I plan on using the CPU's integrated graphics since OBS and a web browser will be all that is typically running.
Thanks!
