So I performed my first Twitch steam using OBS Studio. I had been using OBS Classic for the past year. However, after about 2 and a half hours into the stream, my chat window was no longer providing the text of the chats of the viewers at my stream.
I have never had this manner of problem with OBS Classic and so I don't know what would cause this problem nor how to fix it.
I should also add that, the only evidence that I have that viewers had continued to chat during the stream is that I have the log of the chat listed on the Dashboard of my Nightbot account. My stream ran for about 12 hours and 20 minutes. And so for the majority of the stream, viewers were able to chat during the stream, but I was not seeing that activity in my Twitch chat window. The text of the chat was not appearing.
Has anyone else had this problem while using OBS Studio? If so, how would I resolve it.
I still have OBS Classic and so I can still use that to stream. However, as I understand, it is no longer going to be updated and therefore I would like to be a regular user of OBS Studio.
